Take a peek at Rockstar's '40s detective thriller.
Rockstar has launched the 'first' trailer for LA Noire, its much-anticipated detective thriller set in 1940s Los Angeles. Developed by Team Bondi the game promises a Chandler-esque exploration of corruption and violence during the city's most tumultuous period. As the press release explains:
"L.A. Noire is the first game to really explore what it means to be a detective, and offers players the opportunity to solve crimes blending classic action, investigation and interrogation, in the endless pursuit of what's right."
Team Bondi is the Australian studio set up in 2005 by Brendan McNamara, the designer behind Sony's GTA-inspired gangster adventure, The Getaway. LA Noire, which has been teased at least once before, is due out on PS3 and Xbox 360 next spring.
