Flipboard, having been crowned the Apple iPad US iTunes App of the year, has just gone and gotten itself another feather to add to its cap. A
Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition feed has made an appearance in the
recently unveiled Flipboard Pages program, which aims to forge partnerships with key content publishers to bring high quality content to the magazine-style feed aggregator. Sports Illustrated, which is hurling itself into the new media battle ground with gusto, already has its own
iPad app, active social media accounts, mobile-optimized sites, and even a
Chrome Web Store Web app, and is attempting to
"show you more than just the girl". Sports Illustrated will provide Flipboard with photos and other multimedia content from behind the scenes of the Swimsuit shoots, producing "a photo documentary of loveliness" pulled from their social media accounts.
To get the free Swimsuit Edition on your iPad, download yourself Flipboard
from the App Store if you haven't already, fire up the app, and
